Terms of Service
Last updated: August 21, 2026
Pre-pilot beta evaluated with synthetic, fully fictional cases only. Do not enter real patient information. MedScribe is not affiliated with or endorsed by any hospital or health system. All outputs are drafts that require clinician review.
1. Acceptance and beta status
These terms govern access to the MedScribe pre-pilot beta operated by Borinquen Health Tech LLC. By using the beta, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. Description of the service
MedScribe is a documentation-support beta for bilingual hospitalist workflows. It can produce structured draft notes from synthetic text or audio, apply deterministic checks, and prepare reviewed text for manual copy or export. MEDITECH-formatted output is manual; there is no direct EHR integration or write-back.
3. Synthetic information only
Do not enter real patient information.
You may use only synthetic, fully fictional scenarios. Do not submit patient names, identifiers, recordings, chart text, screenshots, documents, or facts from an actual clinical encounter. Automated identifier-pattern controls are imperfect and do not change this rule.
4. Drafts and clinical responsibility
- Every output is a draft and may contain errors, omissions, or invented content.
- Deterministic checks cover selected patterns and are not clinical validation.
- The beta does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend treatment, or make autonomous clinical decisions.
- A licensed clinician must independently review and edit any draft before any downstream use.
- The current beta is not authorized for clinical care, billing, coding, or inclusion in a medical record.
5. No hospital relationship
MedScribe is independently developed. It has not been deployed or piloted in a hospital and is not affiliated with, authorized by, validated by, or endorsed by any hospital or health system. The founder's clinical experience informed general workflow requirements. The current beta is evaluated only with synthetic, fully fictional cases and is not authorized for clinical use.
6. Account responsibilities
Keep credentials confidential, use a unique password, do not share an account, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for ensuring that all submitted clinical scenarios are fully fictional.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the beta for patient care, emergency decisions, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, autonomous documentation, fraud, model or prompt extraction, security testing without authorization, unlawful content, or attempts to bypass access controls or usage limits.
8. Availability and pricing
The beta may change, pause, or become unavailable without notice. Commercial pricing is not represented as publicly available for the current synthetic-only evaluation. If billing is enabled for a specific account, the price and renewal terms shown in the checkout or billing portal control for that transaction.
9. Intellectual property
MedScribe software, branding, interface, and original materials belong to Borinquen Health Tech LLC or its licensors. You retain rights in original synthetic content you create, subject to the permissions needed to operate and improve the beta.
10. Warranty and liability
The pre-pilot beta is provided as-is and as-available, without a promise of clinical accuracy, completeness, uptime, fitness for clinical use, or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Borinquen Health Tech LLC is not liable for decisions or downstream uses based on beta outputs.
11. Changes, termination, and contact
We may update these terms or suspend access when the beta or its risk boundary changes. Questions may be sent to legal@medscribepr.com. These terms are governed by applicable Puerto Rico and federal law.
